Ford to bring Fiesta hatchback based small car soon

Over enthused by seeing other car makers such as Chevrolet pitching in the Sail brand cars in India, Ford has decided to launch a car that will be priced less than the Ford Fiesta hatchback. As per the latest information, the new Ford car will be based on the Fiesta but it will have lot many features that will be either toned down or it will be altogether vanish on the Indian mode. This is also in line with Nissan planning to launch the Datsun series of cars that are not only low cost cars but are also segment volume pullers. No further information regarding the actual specifications and price details is available as of yet but it is expected that the new Ford vehicle will be taking India seriously and thus an attractive price tag is what is in the offing.

The new car by Ford could also be the car that will be sold in other parts of the world and it will have the might of being the global car as Ford has adopted a policy to launch new cars that are capable of being launched with minor changes into markets worldwide. It is believed that the car will be positioned in the B segment at a price that will be making it much attractive to the car buyers and by the time it will be launched; new cars will be there in the segment that will include new Maruti 800, Datsun cars and Sail cars. The Chevrolet Sail hatchback is soon to be launched in India and this car will be deciding the fate of the low cost cars.

Based on the B car platform, the Fiesta hatchback will be priced low and along with India, the car will also be launched in Brazil. It is believed that this new car by Ford will be priced less or marginally similar to Ford Figo. It is also anticipated that just as the Figo has been one of the best small cars in India, the new small car by Ford will also make it to the segment well and will attract huge car buying.
