Generation Next Honda Amaze Launched With The Price Tag of Rs. 5.59 lakh
Finally, Honda Cars India Limited, the Indian alliance of Japanese car maker Honda Motors has launched the next generation of its best selling compact sedan Amaze in the Indian car market with an impressive tag of Rs. 5.59 lakh for its petrol variant and Rs. 6.69 lakh for diesel variant, both the prices are ex-showroom prices. The new avatar of Amaze made its first public appearance during the Indian Auto Expo 2018 and succeeded in impressing all the segments of car enthusiasts without any second thoughts. The new Amaze undergoes vast cosmetic changes that have ability of grabbing the attention of commuters at the first instance.
Under the hood, new Amaze continues to be offered with the same engine configuration of 1.2 litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine. The former churns the power of87 bhp and the torque of 110 Nm, whereas the later boosts the powers of 99 bhp and the torque of 200Nm. The transmission duties are performed with five speed manual gearbox and also with an option of CVT transmission system. The diesel variant of Amaze with CVT transmission system is the first in its segment, while the petrol CVT transmission will be offered with paddle-shifters. The petrol trims with manual and CVT transmission system are endorsed to deliver the fuel efficiency of 19.5 kmp and 19.0 kmp respectively and the same trims in diesel variant are reported to deliver an average of 27.4 kmp and 23.8 kmpl.
Talking about the cosmetic changes introduced on the exterior portion include front chrome garnished grille with thick slats on the front fascia, alloy wheels on the side profile and newly designed taillights. The color options will include new lunar silver metallic, modern steel metallic, golden brown metallic, radiant red metallic and white orchid pearl options.
Inside the cabin it will sports the features like dual-tone interiors, piano black console, air conditioners and driver side power window as standard features. Other features that are offered according to the trim purchased by the customers include seven inch DIGIPAD 2.0 touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, new instrument cluster, steering wheel, automatic air conditioner, cruise control, engine start/stop button, electronic adjustable and electronic folding ORVM, rear parking sensors with camera, three point pretensioner seat belts, impact mitigation front headrest and many more.
