Honda Amaze 2018 Records The Sales of 9,789 Units In Fortnight
Honda Cars India Limited, the Indian alliance of Japanese car maker Honda Motors had launched the next generation of its best selling compact sedan Amaze in the Indian car market on May 16, 2018 with the starting price of Rs. 5.60 lakh (ex-showroom price) for its entry level variant. Interestingly, the compact sedan has succeeded in receiving an overwhelming response from the Indian buyers. According to the sales statistics revealed by the HCIL it has sold about 9,789 units of generation next Amaze in the Indian car market within the period from May 16, 2018 to May 31, 2018. Prior, to this the company had been selling the Amaze at an average of 2,100 units per month between July 2017 and December 2017.

The new Amaze is offered in both petrol and diesel variants which are enriched with 1.2 litre i-VTEC and 1.5 litre i-DTEC engine. The petrol variant is capable of boosting the power of 90 PS and the torque of 110Nm, while the diesel variant with five speed manual transmission generates the power of 100 PS and the torque of 200Nm, where the diesel with CVT configuration develops the power of 80 PS and the torque of 160Nm. It is available in four trims namely E,S,V and VX. The S and V trims are offered with the option of CVT transmission system.
Now, after the successful launch of generation next Amaze in the Indian car market the Japanese car maker has two new more products – generation next Honda CR-V and tenth generation of Civic sedan in the pipeline for the Indian car market during this financial year.
