Honda Amaze all set to hit Nepali roads by June
Honda Amaze, the first entry-level diesel sedan car from the Japanese carmaker Honda, will soon be launched in Nepali markets too. As per reports, the new Honda Amaze will be launched in Nepal by the end of June this year and it will be introduced by Syakar Trading Company, Honda’s authorised distributor in the country. The new amazing entry level sedan by Honda will be introduced to Nepalian customers with only petrol engine. Although, Indian customers have got it with both petrol and diesel engine models, and the beast is reporting tremendous response.

In Nepalian auto market, in first chance, Honda Amaze's petrol model will be introduced which has a 1.2L, 1198 cc, i-VTEC four-cylinder, SOHC engine under the hood and generates a max power of 86 bhp at 6,000 rpm along with top torque of 109 nm at 4,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox and returns a mileage of 18 kmpl according to Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI). After some time, its diesel and automatic transmission system versions would also be launched.

In that market, the beast will be introduced as a bigger C segment sedan. The new vehicle is reported to be launched in four variants like E, EX, S and VS. The base variant is likely to be priced at around Rs 2.6 million. At this price, the Amaze sedan will be a tough competitor of Maruti Swift Desire, Volkswagen Vento, Kia Rio and Skoda Rapid.
