Honda Amaze CNG launched with price tag of Rs. 6.53 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)
The success of Honda Amaze is not hidden from anyone in Indian car market. The sedan was not only a trendsetter but also changed the fortunes of Japanese car maker. Going through the success enjoyed by both petrol and diesel variants of Amaze wait of CNG trim was highly expected by the car enthusiasts in Indian car market. In-fact there were not even rumors about when the CNG version of Amaze would be launched in India.
But according to recent reports coming out from car maker’s side the 1.2 S MT Plus, CNG version of Amaze has reached the showroom with price tag of Rs. 6.53 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The variant will bestow CNG kit that would be offered by the dealer. The actual cost of CNG is Rs. 5.99 lakh which is followed by CNG kit of Rs. 54,315. Apart from this the car maker will impose additional cost for CNG on RC.
The CNG trim is empowered with 1.2 litre i-VTEC petrol engine that boosts the power of 88 PS and torque of 109 Nm and mated with five speed manual gear transmission system. The CNG trim of Amaze is endorsed to deliver the fuel efficient performance of 22-23 km/kg. Prior to Amaze, Honda had introduced CNG version also in City sedan which was further removed from the portfolio with launch of Honda City 2014.
