Honda Amaze launched

Who could have expected that after Honda Brio hatchback, Honda will not take up much time and bring in the Brio sedan? However, right now Honda Brio sedan or shall we say Honda Amaze hasn’t arrived in India, but Thailand is happy as Honda Amaze is finally launched there for the starting price of 493,000 Baht. Looks quite reasonable, isn’t it? Under the hood, the brand new Honda Brio Amaze has been blessed with a 1.2 litre engine producing 90HP of power along with corresponding torque. A 1.5 litre of diesel engine option is also available for the Thailand consumers.

This diesel engine has been developed under Honda’s earth dreams project and is also expected to come to India as well. However, no news about the launch of Honda Brio Amaze in India, but if reports are to be believed, it might hit the Indian shores by 2013. Honda Brio Amaze in Thailand, the sedan has been rolled out in four variants, namely S MT, V MT, S AT and V AT. it is really very interesting to see that the sedan is launched in automatic variants as well, which gives us a hope that India might also get the automatic variant of Amaze with the initial launch.
