Honda Amaze launched in India

Car manufacturer Honda has launched its first diesel car Honda Amaze in India today. It is believed that the Honda Amaze launch will be transforming the fate of this car maker in India and it will turn it from a slow performer in the market to a volume puller. Since this car caters to the entry level sedan segment, it will get benefitted by the huge response that the Maruti Swift Dzire is enjoying. In addition to this, the car is set to pave the way for more diesel cars such as Honda City, Honda Jazz and others. The Honda Amaze price in India starts at Rs 4.99 lakhlakh for the entry level petrol variant and it is expected that that the diesel variant that starts at Rs 5.99 lakh lakh will be the star performer in the segment.

Honda has chosen the first day of Navratra or the Navratra Sthapna as the launch day as the Navratra witnesses huge car buying. The car has both diesel and petrol variants and it is highly expected that Honda will also be introducing the automatic variant as well. Based on the Honda Brio small car, this car has the agility, maneuverability of the small car and large space of a sedan.
