Honda Amaze launched in Nepal
Honda Cars India Limited has finally launched their hot selling Honda Amaze sedan in Nepali auto market yesterday. The Amaze sedan will be exported from India, is sold by Syakar Trading Company (STC) Honda's domestic distributor. On the launching occasion Shigeru Yamazaki, director and senior vice-president, sales and marketing at HCIL were also present. The company has offered only petrol model of the vehicle to Nepali customers with manual transmission system.

Honda Amaze has been offered to Nepali customers in three variants- Amaze EMT, Amaze EXMT and Amaze SMT which are priced at Rs 2.55 million (around 15.90 lakh), 2.65 million (around 16.50 lakh) and 2.85 million (around 17.79 lakh) respectively. All these variants are loaded with a 1.2-litre four-cylinder SOHC i-VTEC petrol engine that generates mass power of 87bhp at 6000rpm and a massive torque of 109Nm at 4500rpm. The engine is mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox.

In that market the Amaze will be made available in six body colours like carnelian, majestic blue metallic, red pearl, alabaster silver metallic, urban titanic metallic, taffeta white and crystal black pearl. And, it will compete against the Maruti Swift Dzire and Ford Classic. In India auto market the Amaze sedan has been best selling model for the stable of HCIL and within a launch period of 2 month it has registered over 22000 bookings.
