Recently, Honda launched the much awaited Honda Brio based Sedan, with the name of Honda Amaze in Thailand. Now, the car has been pepped-up with a new Modulo body kit and an array of other accessories. The accessories comprise for both interiors and exteriors. The modulo body kit comprises of some attractive features, such as rear and front bumper extensions, ducktail boot spoiler, revised front grille, fog lamps, door visors, chrome tipped exhaust pipe and side skirts. All these things make sure that Honda Amaze turn up to be more impressive and stylish as compared to the original look.
Talking about the changes on the interiors, the Honda Amaze sedan gets touch screen infotainment module along with navigation and reverse camera display. Also, the presence of dashboard with faux carbon fiber, gear knob and sporty pedal, the interiors appear to be elegant yet sporty. Giving an option to the consumers to spice up their Amaze is certainly a good idea. It allows them to customize their sedan and make it much better and improved than before.
Right now, Honda Amaze sedan is available only in Thailand with a powerful 1.2 litre of i-VTEC petrol engine churning out 88BHP power and 110Nm torque. Also the 1.5 litre turbo diesel engine option is also available that performs pretty impressively on road. The petrol engine variant has been mated with five-speed manual gearbox and five speed CVT automatic transmission, which is offered as an option.
The Indian launch of Honda Amaze is still not decided so far, but according to the fresh reports, this compact sedan will come to Indian in early 2013. Here in India, the car will directly compete with Mahindra Verito CS, Tata Indigo eCS, Toyota Etios and the very popular Maruti Swift Dzire.
