Hyundai Might Launch The Updated Tucson In The Month Of November
After the successful launch of Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Hyundai Motors India Limited is going to boost the sales of its poor performing compact SUV Tucson in the Indian car market during the month of November this year. The prototype of the compact SUV was showcased in the New York Auto Show 2018 where it succeeded in receiving the overwhelming response from the audiences. In its new version the compact SUV Tucson will not only under cosmetic updates, but also the mechanical changes in the form of BS-VI compliant engines in both the petrol and diesel variants.

The existing 2.0 litre petrol and 1.6 litre turbo GDI diesel engine, after updating into BS-VI compliant engine will deliver the same 160 bhp and 170 bhp power as delivered by their existing versions respectively. The transmission duties will include the options of six speed manual and automatic system as offered in the existing versions.
Apart from the above mentioned mechanical changes, the cosmetic changes will consist of revamped headlamps, fog lamps with LED DRLS, aggressive front bumper, LED taillamps and modified rear bumper with a new design language. Inside the cabin it will be upgraded with a new touchscreen infotainment system positioned above the existing infotainment system, newly designed dashboard and supports the connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, new instrument cluster, new multifunctional steering wheel. Moving ahead, it is also believed that it might receive the BlueLink connectivity feature that is offered in the recently launched compact SUV Venue. Besides, these features the company might also a plethora of various additional features that are offered in the existing vehicles of the segment. With the arrival of festive season in the coming months it is believed that the integration of these features will definitely help the HMIL to let the Tucson enjoy the expected success which it could not enjoy in its first generation avatar.
