Hyundai Starts Bookings For 2022 Tucson

Hyundai India, the Indian arm of the South Korean carmaker Hyundai Motors is all set to launch the 2022 Tucson during the next month in the Indian car market. Ahead of its launch, the company has started receiving bookings for this compact SUV at a down payment of Rs 50,000.  The new Tucson will be available with two engine options of 2.0-litre petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel engine. The transmission duties will be performed by automatic gearboxes which will be common in both variants. The diesel variant will receive the option of an all-wheel drive.

Speaking about the cosmetic updates introduced in the new Tucson, it will undergo aesthetic changes on both exterior and interior fronts. On the exterior front, it receives a muscular body followed by multiple creases on the exterior body giving the new Tucson an eye-catching look. The front fascia receives Hyundai’s Parametric Jewel Design grille with chrome garnished L-shaped LED DRLs. 
 
Inside the cabin, it gets a split cockpit along with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system followed by another touchscreen system back to the steering wheel. Moving ahead, you will also find five options of a single-tone interior and two options of dual colour tone. The notable feature offered inside the cabin is the presence of the Advanced Driver Assistance System. The new Tucson will also receive level 2 ADAS tech to identify the other cars on the road, pedestrians, and two-wheelers. It also receives features like blind-spot detection, cross-traffic collision, and advanced features like cruise control, lane keep assist system, and stop and go features.
 
On the safety front, it will receive features like six airbags, vehicle stability management, a hill descent control system, an electronic stability control system, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
