Hyundai Xcent: Production to boost up
Hyundai Motors India Limited (HMIL) has announced that it will enhance the production of its recent launch compact sedan Xcent to reduce the extended waiting period and to meet the requirements of customers. The Indian arm of Korean car maker had launched the Grand i10 hatchback and Xcent sedan based on i10’s platform after the launch of Grand i10 hatchback and sold out 16, 275 units of both the products during the month of April this year.

Now according to sources of company it is working on enhancing the production of compact sedan to shorten the waiting period of Xcent. Apart from this company is also speculating to export the compact sedan to other countries and is searching for markets where it can export Xcent. It would be interested to know that 46 percent of the company’s sale accounts from exports made by it.
In current scenario when Lok Sabha elections are over and a stable government is going to take over the rule of nation, the Korean car maker speculated to strengthen its position in Indian car market by concentrating mainly on both these two products followed by launch of new other products.
