Is HMIL re-introducing Santro Xing in Indian car market?
According to recent industry reports Korean car maker Hyundai Motors is going to re-introduce its one time best selling Santro back into the Indian car market in new avatar. The entry level hatchback was first initiative by car maker that made its debut back in 1998 and after successful existence for sixteen years in Indian car market the hatchback was rolled out from market. Now the recent reports reveal that after gap of two years car maker is bringing the hatchback back due to significant demand by customers despite of its discontinuation in 2014.
It is also noticed that dealers of Santro across the country have also tired from the regular questions by car enthusiasts regarding why the Santro was discontinued from market? During the course of its existence 13.6 lkah units of Hyundai Santro Xing were alone sold in Indian car market followed by 5.35 lakh units exported to other countries. Commenting on Hyundai’s plan to bring Santro Xing back in Indian car market company sources said that nothing has been so far officially revealed by company. But this news has given fire to grapevine that soon the car enthusiast will have opportunity of driving their beloved car in new look.
