Jaguar India Launches Locally Manufactured XF Sedan in India

Jaguar India, the Tata owned subsidiary of British car maker Land Rover started launched its first ever locally manufactured XF sedan in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 47.50 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). According to the sources of company it has commenced the production of Jaguar vehicles locally from its Chakan plant in India. Under the bonnet it will continued to be offered with 2.0 litre Ingenium petrol and diesel engines. The Jaguar dealers across the country have commenced the bookings of the same with immediate effect.

The Britain made generation next XF in Indian car market making it 190 kgs light weighted than its earlier version. Besides, this refreshed XF also received newly developed front bumper outsourced from XJ, J-blad DRLS with adaptive LED lights. At the rear front it received enlarged tail portion with set of new tail lights and newly developed rear bumper. Another notable feature of rear portion is F shaped dual-rounded LED lighting pattern. Moving inside the cabin it sports 12.3 cm TFT multi-information display cluster along with 10.2 inch touchscreen InControl infotainment system coupled with Meridian sound system. The top end variant Portfolio embellishes 17 speaker system whereas the Prestige variant is offered with 11 speakers.
 
 
Jaguar XF Interior
 
The 2.0 litre Ingenium diesel engine is 4 cylinder turbocharged engine that is reported to offer improved fuel efficiency and is about 20 kg light weighted than the earlier diesel variant. On other side the Ingenium petrol engine is 2.0 litre 4 cylinder engine that is capable of producing 240 PS power. The transmission duties in both the engines are performed by eight speed automatic transmission system.
