Jaguar XJ Ultimate launched for Rs. 1.78 crore

Looks like the year 2013 is going to be dedicated to luxury cars! On one hand, where Lamborghini came up with two new Gallardo models, on the other hand, Tata Owned Jaguar rolled out a new luxury sedan called XJ Ultimate. The car has been priced for a whopping Rs. 1.88 crore.  The price tag might seem a bit high, but a luxury sedan like Jaguar XJ Ultimate does make it worth every penny spent on it. The first thing that would steal your heart is its 5.0-Litre V8 supercharged petrol engine, which is impressive and guarantees an amazing performance on road. However, the company has launched XJ Ultimate in diesel version as well, which carries a price tag of Rs. 1.78 crore. This one comes with 3.0-Litre V6 turbocharged diesel engine. Both variants sport eight-speed automatic transmission that makes it furthermore a delight to drive.

Besides having strong technicalities, the new Jaguar XJ Ultimate comes with top-notch interiors. This one is chauffer driven car that means rear seat passengers should be facilitated with huge amount of space along with utmost comfort. Therefore, XJ Ultimate isn’t lagging behind in this segment. On the outside as well, Jaguar hasn’t compromised a bit and made the car look like a million dollar baby i.e. true to its price and the luxury that it has to offer.

Apart from XJ Ultimate, Jaguar is also working on Jaguar XF variant. The company will begin the assembly of XF very soon. Assembling the car here will chop down the prices of the same by more than Rs. 12 lakh. The car is expected to be rolled out by the end of this year with a price tag of Rs. 44.5 lakh. The new Jaguar XF will feature 2.2-Litre diesel engine that is likely to deliver great power and impressive fuel economy figures.
