Mahindra Electric Verito spied testing in Bangalore
Showcased in Indian Auto Expo 2012, Mahindra Verito Electric is back into limelight. It is reported that that the sedan has been spied being tested on Bangalore roads few days back. This reports has fired the rumors that company is going to launch this car during the forthcoming Indian Auto Expo 2014 next month. Although the car was camouflaged but still electric and automatic badges were witnessed appearing at the back. According to reports the chassis and body of electric Verito has been carried from existing model of Verito, only the electric motor will replace the existing engine configuration. One more thing which was visible in this model was badge of Powered by Reva on the front fenders of car.
The upcoming Electric Verito is energized with electric AC motor generating the power of 39 bhp and after full charge it will cover the distance of 100 kms. The charging duration is for six hours. It will attain the top of speed of 86 kmph. Being an electric car it is an eco friendly car without noise or emission errors. The electric engine of Verito is more powerful than 19kw engine of e20, because as compared to other hatchback Verito is heavier.
