Mahindra upcoming cars: Reva E20 and Verito CS launch nearer
It has been confirmed from reliable sources that in this New Year Mahindra & Mahindra is fully set to launch its two new zealous cars in the succeeding three months. The first one to be launched is the Mahindra Reva E20 which is an electric car and after that it will be the introduction of the compact version of Mahindra Verito sedan. The Reva E20 is just longing for sanction of government’s subsidy which will be given to all electric automobiles manufactured in India as per National Electric Mobility Mission 2020. The amount of the subsidy will decide the estimated price of the car.
The Reva E20 will target urban areas with economical pricing. Some of its attractive features are its 48 Bhp electric motor which will provide the car with an excellent speed of 105 Kmph. It is a compressed four seater car and it is reportedly known that its price will be in the range of Rs 5 to Rs 6 lakh. Talking about the junior Verito sedan whose length is approx 4 meters, it will have a powerful 1.5 liter turbo K9K diesel engine with 65 Bhp - 160 Nm. Due to its compact dimensionality, it will come under the category of small cars as per Indian Government regulations and will have a lot of price concessions.
As Verito CS is the compact car, it is expected to save excise duty to a great extent and hence the customers in return will be benefited from it. As per the information obtained, the Verito CS will cost around Rs 5.5 lakh rupees which will be about fifty thousand rupees lesser than the original bigger size Verito sedan. Hoping the government speeds up its process in declaring the reforms policy regarding electric cars, so that the Reva E20 can soon provide the sight for the sore eyes.
