Mahindra Scorpio facelift expected to launch in October 2014
Facelift Mahindra Scorpio SUV is one of the highly awaited vehicles in Indian car market during this year. Scorpio has been one of the highly acclaimed products by the domestic car maker Mahindra and Mahindra which carries the legacy of Mahindra’s products to new heights. The facelift Scorpio has been witnessed being tested on roads at several occasions and now it is rumored that car maker may launch the facelift SUV sometimes during the month of October this year.
To begin with the changes that would be offered in facelift Scorpio, it is speculated that SUV will continue with the same existing engine configuration of 2.2 litre M-Hawk turbo diesel engine with enhanced power and torque generation from 120 bhp and 290Nm torque to 140 bhp and 330 Nm torque. It is also speculated that this time car maker may also introduce automatic transmission system to SUV along with existing five speed manual transmission system. Moving ahead the suspension system may be improved to offer comfort traveling experience to passengers.
Talking about the other cosmetic changes the exteriors might receive improved front, including new headlamps, front grille, new bumper and bonnet. The side profile is anticipated to receive minimum changes. Inside the cabin the SUV will receive steering mounted control system, Bluetooth with USB and aux-in connectivity, as standard features.
