Mahindra Scorpio facelift spotted
The facelift Mahindra Scorpio from domestic car maker Mahindra and Mahindra has been spotted testing on the roads of Chennai under camouflaged. Although the sources could not get the complete idea about the changes offered in facelift Scorpio but still they succeeded in getting some clues about the changes offered in the facelift. According to the reports received it has been revealed that although major changes would be offered in the exteriors and interiors but company will also offer few changes in mechanical features.
To begin about the mechanical changes it is speculated that company will continue the existing engine configuration of 2.2 litre mHawk turbo diesel engine churning the power of 120 bhp. The engine will be offered with front wheel drive option and coated with five speed and six speed gearboxes. However it is expected that this time company may enhance the power generation capacity of engine from 120 bhp to 140 bhp.
Talking about the exteriors it is reported that facelift will be upgraded with new grille and newly designed headlamps followed by changes in design of bumpers. It is also noticed that facelift Scorpio will be offered with newly designed alloy wheels which are same as offered in the top end variant of Scorpio at present. Moving towards the interiors it is speculated that this time company might improve the quality of upholstery which might be similar to XUV 500.
