Mahindra TUV 300 introduced, priced Rs.6.90 lakh (Ex-showroom, Pune)
Still eyes, paused breath, rubbing hands, active goose bumps, everyone watching keenly the launch of Mahindra TUV 300 with mouth opened, was witnessed today when domestic car maker Mahindra and Mahindra launched its highly awaited compact SUV Mahindra TUV 300 in Indian car market today with starting price of Rs. 6.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune) in front of industry experts, group of journalists and renowned car manufacturers. Endorsing the quote as said by Mr. Anand Mahindra addressing the launch of TUV “Tough is what, Tough Drives” the new TUV 300 is perfect illustration of rugged looks and power performance merged in unit. Inspired from the expectations expected from Mr. Veer Singh one of the erstwhile customers of domestic car maker, TUV 300 has been developed to offer everything to generation next buyers which they expect from their SUV.
Empowered with 1.5 litre diesel mHawk 800 turbocharger engine boosting the power of 84 bhp and torque of 230 Nm and has been offered with both five speed manual gear transmission system and also with auto shift (AMT) transmission system making it easier for drivers to change gear easily in high traffic areas. It has been offered in over all three variants namely T4, T6 and T8 with option of T4 (O), T6 (O) and T8 (AMT) in fascinating colors including Verve Blue, Glacier White, Dynamo Red, Bold Black, Molten Orange, and Majestic White.
Before discussing the major features offered in this new compact SUV it would be interested to know the major attractions which make it different from other compact SUv’s in Indian car market are True Blue Styling, Chassis based SUV capability, 5+2 seating capacity, additional features like Eco Mode and Brake Energy Regeneration, static bending headlamps, Micro Hybrid, and Blue Sense technology. Inside the cabin it receives dual tone interiors, premium fabric upholstery, hexagonal central console with black finish, driver information and voice messaging system, steering mounted audio controls, and reverse parking system. On the exteriors it receives large headlamps on both sides of front vertical grille, large airdam, fog lamps, black out B and D pillars, roof rails, rear tail mounted spare wheel and many more.
