Mahindra TUV 300 to receive 100 PS engine from NuvoSport
Launched last year on September 10, 2015, the Mahindra TIV300 compact SUV by domestic car maker Mahindra and Mahindra received an encouraging response from Indian car enthusiasts, but now it is realized by buyers that the acceleration power of this compact SUV is lesser than other vehicles in same segment. And therefore it does not satisfy the expectations of buyers who prefer to drive their vehicle at its top speed.

After receiving this feedback from existing buyers the car maker has now decided to empower TUV 300 with new engine configuration of 100 PS engine that churns the torque of 240 Nm. This engine configuration will be same as offered in recently launched NuvoSport. The existing version of Mahindra TUV300 is empowered with 1.5 litre three cylinder turbo diesel mHawk engine that produces the power of 85 PS and torque of 230 Nm. It reaches the notch from zero to 100 km/h in span of 19.52 seconds and despite of being the heaviest vehicle as compared to its rivals like Ford EcoSport and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza it is empowered with less powered engine configuration.
