Maruti Suzuki sales jumps upto 5 per cent in January
The India’s leading passenger car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki has reported a decent hike of 5.2% in vehicles sales for the month of January with the total sales of 115, 433 units. Company has struggled hard to get the lost track of success after the long labour strike at the Manesar plant along with the constantly increasing fuel price, interest rate and inflation.
In order to gain this market reputation, the hatchback Maruti Suzuki Swift has played an important role with the outstanding sales record and overseas export. On this Tuesday morning, the investors have received the profit by selling the stock up around 3% at Rs.1, 218.15.

In January, company has submitted the domestic sales of 101, 047 units with the rise of 0.6% and export of 14, 386 units with the increase of 54.3%, as compare to the previous year. The great demand of the Maruti Suzuki compact cars has pushed-up the growth of the company by 22.4% with the sales of 25, 756 units that include the Maruti Swift, Maruti Ritz and Maruti Estilo.

Whereas, the market of Maruti Wagon R, Maruti Alto and Maruti 800 has dropped upto 2.4% along with the Maruti Dzire, Maruti SX4, Maruti Omini and Maruti Eeco by 11.6%, 10%, 10.8% respectively.
The few months ago (i.e. April to January) Maruti had under gone through the various market challenges with the sales fall of 14.3% at 888, 794 units, domestic sales by 14.6% at 785, 939 units and deduction in export by the 11.8% at 102, 855 units.
