Maruti working on new model of Alto
It is rumored that country’s leading car manufacturing company Maruti Suzuki India Limited is going to introduce a new model in fleet of its successful hatchback Maruti Alto which will bridge the gap between Alto 800 and Alto K10. The rumored model would be energized with same 1.0 litre engine carried from Alto K10 but will embellish less features to minimize its costs. To make the new avatar of Maruti Alto different from 800 and K10 it will be equipped with new tail lamps and head lamps, new body graphics followed by new cabin.
Talking about the price of new Alto it is expected to be priced below the Alto K10, however it would be more interested to see that will it be price higher or lower than it’s another sibling Alto 800. Moving back to engine configuration it will be boosted with K10’s 1.0 litre, 4 cylinder engine, zooming the power of 68 hp at 6200 rpm and torque of 90 Nm at 3500 rpm and will be coated with 5 speed manual transmission system.
If these rumors get true than it means that the prospective buyers of Maruti Alto will be offered with three optional hatchbacks available according to their financial requirements. It would be now interested that when the new model of Alto is offered to customers.
