Mercedes-Benz Launches “Night Edition” of A-Class & B-Class

Mercedes-Benz A-Class and B-Class

German car maker Mercedes-Benz has began its journey in Indian car market for 2017 by launching the “Night Edition” of its luxurious hatchbacks A-Class and B-Class. According to sources only 100 units of both the vehicles will be manufactured by the company. The prices of different trims offered in both these vehicles are Rs. 27.31 lakh for Mercedes-Benz A180, Rs. 28.32 lakh for Mercedes-Benz A 200 d, Rs. 29.34 lakh for Mercedes-Benz B180, and Rs. 30.35 lakh for Mercedes-Benz 200 d, all these prices ex-showroom prices in Pune.
 
Mercedes-Benz A-Class Night Edition
 
Talking about the changes introduced in A-Class Night Edition it gets huge black color treatment on the exterior front in form of black diamond radiator grille with black garnished louvre, high gloss black trim on both front and rear bumpers followed by high-gloss beltline, and 17 inch 5 spoke light alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, it sports 3 spoke leather covered multifunctional steering wheel, leather cover on the gear shift knob. An interesting feature of this Night Edition is integration of man-made ARTICO leather fabric sport seats as standard feature. Apart, from this you will also find tube look-alike instrument cluster with silver colored round shaped dials and eight inch media display. The media display is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto followed by voice control system as standard feature.
 
Mercedes-Benz B-Class Night Edition
 
 Moving towards B-Class, it receives same updates as offered in Night Edition of A-Class, inside the cabin it also bestows three spoke multifunctional steering wheel with shift paddles, comfortable upholstery and ergonomics contours. The ARTICO made leather seats are offered with option of 60:40 split, enhancing the boot capacity form 488 litres to 1547 litre. Speaking about the safety features the Night Edition comes with six airbags, ESP, attention assist system, ABS, BAS, and reverse parking camera as standard feature. Under the hood both the editions are empowered with 1.6 litre petrol engine boosting the power of 122 bhp and 2.0 litre diesel engine boosting the power of 136 bhp. The transmission duties are carried by seven speed dual clutch automatic transmission system.
