New Audi TT launches on March 23
The Indian unit of the Germany based luxury car maker Audi is all set to launch the much awaited second generation of Audi TT coupe in the Indian market on 23rd March. The all new Audi TT facelift will be replacing the existing version of the car that was launched in the Indian market way back in year 2007. The car will be bought to the Indian market as the CBU (Completely Built Unit); however, if the demand for this luxury coupe rises, the company may decide to assemble it in the Indian market itself.

In the international market, the Audi TT coupe is available in two engine variants including to 3.2-litre petrol and 1.8-litre TFSI petrol engine. The car is offered in both front-wheel-drive and Quattro versions.
In India, it is expected that the new Audi TT coupe model will be offered with two engine options in including a 3.2-litre petro engine that outpours a peak power of 257PS with peak torque of 320N, and a 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine with the high end variant of the car. As far as transmission system is concerned, the TT coupe will be carrying two options to choose from including six-speed manual and automatic DSG gearbox.

The newer version of Audi TT is about 2 cm long as compared to its predecessor, whereas the other dimensions like height and width have been kept same as before. Also, the trademark Audi LED lights find place in the new Audi TT facelift, positioned below the headlights in a straight line. The other changes at the front profile of the car include newly designed bumpers and fog lamps with chrome rings.
