New BMW X1 spied, launch anytime from now
The Audi Q3 rival SUV BMW X1 is undergoing tests in Pune and will soon be launched. The new BMW X1 was unveiled at the New York Auto Show earlier in April and since then the German car maker is doing all it can to launch it in various parts of the globe where it is offered. The US got its new X1 first and markets such as India and Europe still awaits the new generation car. Studded with an outstanding fuel efficiency of 15.2 Kmpl, the X1 price starts at Rs 23.58 lakh and goes up to Rs 30.44 lakh for the BMW X1 sDrive20d(H).

As part of the changes to distinguish it from the current generation, the X1 will have an array of changes apart from a four wheel drive system. With this the X1 will be able to compete in a better with its other rivals such as Nissan X Trail, Honda CR V, Mitsubishi Outlander, and Ford Endeavour. Also, as the BMW X1 is all set an all ready, it is expected that it will be launched in India soon. Besides, X1 is a priced possession and volume puller and BMW will not take time in giving it a facelift. Also, all know that Q3 has the potential to dethrone X1 from the segment leader position and so expect an early X1 launch.

A close look at the X1 spotted in Pune, it seems that BMW is bringing the US model to India in as is condition with some changes and shedding of some features of course. The new X1 will have new colors, slight changes on the outside to make it more stunning than before, besides a four wheel drive mechanism. An eight speed Steptronic AT is also expected to transmit the power to the wheels.
