New Chevrolet cars coming soon: Sail UVA, Sail sedan, Enjoy MPV, Trax SUV

General Motors seems to be doing its best to recover from the slump that has set in due to the low demand for cars in India. The American car maker is all set to launch the Chevrolet Trax Mini SUV soon to take on the Renault Duster, to be launched Ford Ecosport and the Maruti XA Alpha. Already the car maker is about to launch the Chevrolet Sail sisters and the MPV Chevrolet Enjoy that will be the closest rival of the Maruti Ertiga. The Trax SUV will not be having any problem in settling down in India as the segment is hot and there is a significant rise in demand as well. The only factor will be the Trax price as the market is price sensitive.

Another update regarding the car maker is that it will also be launching a car that will be places under the Spark. However, this could be a rumor as there is no official regarding it as of yet and bringing the price down means a lot of effort. But if it all manages to be there, it is sure that the upcoming new Maruti 800 and the Tata Nano will have a rival. As per reports, GM is closely looking at the possibilities and it could launch the new Maruti 800 rival car soon after the new 800 launches this Diwali.

It is noteworthy that GM sales have gone down this year by 11 percent and thus the car maker has decided to pull out some models and replace them with some attractive offerings. Thus the Chevrolet Aveo UVA and Aveo sedan besides the Oprta sedan became the targets and these will soon be replaced by Chevrolet Sail UVA and Chevrolet Sail sedan while the MPV and SUV segment will also be addressed by Enjoy and Trax cars respectively.
