New Chevrolet Cruze launch soon

The new Chevrolet is round the corner with its superbly carved exteriors and plush interiors besides a highly performing engine. As per the latest updates, the Chevrolet’s new avatar of the Cruze sedan will be launching sometime from now. Apart from being stunning in looks and awesome feature wise, the new Cruze will also have a high performance Z Series engine. The new sedan by American car maker will be able to repeat the success story that the outgoing generation of the car has created. The present generation Cruze price starts at Rs 12.54 lakh and the new Cruze is expected to be priced a little higher than the current price. The new Cruze will be able to give a straight fight to its arch rivals including Toyota Corolla Altis, Renault Fluence, Hyundai Verna and Skoda Laura primarily and to Honda Civic as well.

The Cruze has been eagerly waiting for the new generation and it is not a mere bumper or grille makeover as there is some serious effort done under the hood. In addition to the exteriors and the interiors as well as addition of features inside the new Cruze, the car will have a new Z Series engine that will not only make it much more powerful but will also help it gain volumes. The success of Z Series engine technology is well known and its use in this sedan will make it much more worth. Though already the Cruze is one of the most powerful sedan in its segment, the new engine will make it stronger indeed. The new engine will be of 163 bhp/360 Nm and will be more powerful than the VCDi engine in the current generation Cruze.

Another specialty of the Z Series engine is that it is a square bore stroke type that gives smoother strokes at every compression. Besides, the new engine will also have a lesser turbo lag as the turbo boost has been increased to 2.2 Bar. Thus with higher compression ratio and higher turbo boost it is expected that the car will be able to produce much power in less effort and that is the key to make this car a performing one.
