New Chevrolet Cruze sedan launched
Chevrolet has rolled out a brand new variant of its most loved sedan, Chevrolet Cruze. This new variant has been blessed with a bit smaller 1.7 litre of VCDi engine. This is the same engine, which will be soon made available in Chevrolet Cruze Wagon, when it is launched in the 3rd quarter of this year.

The 1.7 litre of VDCi diesel engine is quite economic, but the power has been comprised a bit. This engine manages to churn out about 130 PS of peak power, which is 20 PS less than what is produced by 2.2 litre along with 300 Nm of maximum torque. When accelerated, the car touches the 100 km per hour speed mark in just 9.4 seconds and has a top speed of 200 km per hour, which is utterly impressive.
Chevrolet UK proffers this brand new and fresh variant to fleet consumers, which is a main business area for the firm. Chevrolet will be launching Cruze hatchback and Cruze wagon by the end of this year. Company now aims that this extensive Cruze line up will help the firm in fetching a huge chunk of revenue and will keep the consumers contended.

However, when talking about the Indian car market, it is still unsure whether Chevrolet Cruze sedan with 1.7 litre VCDi engine will be launched or not. At present, GM India is quite satisfied with the Cruze performance and currently has no intentions to place the 2.2 litre of engine on Chevrolet Cruze. Also, General Motors India is in no plans to give a makeover to Cruze any soon. Therefore, one could expect that this new Cruze variant will not hit the Indian roads anytime soon. The other popular cars by General Motors in India include Chevrolet Beat, Chevrolet Spark, Chevrolet Tavera, Chevrolet Captiva etc.
