New Chevrolet Tavera launched at Auto Expo

A Brand New Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3 debuts at the 11th International Auto Expo Show presently going on at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. This is an upgraded Avatar of the old Chevrolet Tavera being re-engineered by the General Motors engineers based on the feedbacks from the customers. The MUV that will now be able to make its presence in the Metro cities of the country as it now comes incorporated with its new BS4 compliant engine, while the older BS3 engine continues its duty in smaller cities. The 2012 Tavera Neo3 with TCDi engine is expected to be priced at INR 9.5 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for base variant. The MUV will be available at the showrooms for sales by amid this year.

The all new Chevrolet Tavera Neo3 is a versatile vehicle that comes together with the comfort and handling of a usual passenger car and the toughness of a MUV (Multi Purpose Vehicle). Its features are more advanced and superb than the former version. The fresh model has got a Chevrolet’s twin-port grille and a prominent Chevrolet bow-tie emblem at the front and rear end. The Dual-tone body color combination, Exclusive exterior color finishes embellished with contrastive gold bumpers and side trim won't let you take your eyes away from the Car. The large gleaming crystal-effect clear lens headlamps with unified indicator lamps improve visibility and enhance the style factor and bold look from the front end. The extra chrome finish at the grille and fog lamps housing impart an extra premium appeal to the model. Chevrolet’s “advancing diamond” pattern seamlessly merges the surfaces with bumpers for that sensational visual appeal.

The new Chevrolet Tavera Neo3 comes with a 2.5-liter direct injection insta-torque turbocharged engine (BS3) along with a latest 2.0-liter common rail direct injection diesel engine which is BS4 emission conformable. Both the engines feature a splendid pick up and low-end torque for an excellent performance even in heavy traffic. The engines are very quiet in operation, almost soundless.

The newly launched Tavera Neo3 model has got classic and harmonious interiors. The beige and dark grey combinations which usually come in Luxury sedans add more excellence and lavishness to the Interiors of the Car. The “advancing diamond” theme is kept up inside the Car by way of rich soft-feel cashmere upholstery with design inserts. Seven captain seats with premium perforated leather coverings are available inside. The Dark grey elements go from top of the instrument panel and continue till top of the door trim, rendering a brilliant wrap-around effect. The instrument cluster has Ice Blue illumination.
