New Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3 launches on Wednesday
At the 11th Delhi Auto Expo, General Motors (GM) revealed its new version of Tavera, called Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3 which is fitted with a BS IV engine, with better emissions for BS IV compliant cities. Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3 is scheduled for an official launch on 21st March 2012 i.e. Wednesday. GM India’s official Mr Avishek Dutta has confirmed the launch to Carkhabri.com. The company has already launched the BSIII version of the SUV a couple of months back.

Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3, which is a facelift version of the old Tavera, sports some real nice and new features. The front grille gets broader this time around and gets matching air ducts. The famous Chevrolet logo is placed right in the center, surrounded by chrome headlamps and edgy grille. The interiors as well get upgrades from Chevrolet. These upgrades make it an altogether different and new experience. Added to this, is the new 2Liter Common Rail Turbo Diesel Engine (CRDe), that delivers 106.8ps of peak power and 263.7nm of maximum torque, and has been hired from ICML Sonalika. The new Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3, thus, is a total makeover, with new looks, as well as new engine to support Chevrolet’s cause.

GM has been quite shining for over 5 years due to its MPV whiz, Tavera. The car maker has also planned to launch a hatchback and sedan version of its much anticipated, Chevrolet Sail. Speculations are that the hatchback Sail would be launch in the second half of 2012 while its sedan versions would be launched by end of the year. Apart from Sail, GM is also planning to introduce many other cars in coming two years which include; MPV Chevrolet Enjoy, Chevrolet Orlando and Chevrolet Camaro.
