New Global Cars to to launch in India
The Frankfurt Motor Show is the biggest Auto show of the world. It is attended by thousand of people every year. It is organised in Germany and the biggest automobile companies showcase their latest models in the show.
At this year's Frankfurt Motor Show, Volkswagen has showcased its much awaited small car called Up! The Volkswagen Up is being appreciated for its design and technology. The entry level hatchback is powered by a 1L three cylinder petrol engine which generates 59bhp power. However, its higher end model generates 74bhp power. The fuel efficiency of Up! is amazing, with 23 kmpl according to the company. There are speculations that Volkswagen will be launching Up! in India as well. It will be put in competition with Maruti Alto and Wagon R. Volkswagen Up is a genuine four seater and it will be priced around Rs. 3 to Rs. 4 Lacs.

Another car that will be soon launched in India is Skoda Mission L. According to sounrces, it will be priced in the same range as Volkswagen Vento and Honda City. The MissionL will be powered with the same 1.6L Petrol and Diesel engines as Volkswagen Vento. However, it is expected to be a better car than Vento, in respects to interiors and performance. The Skoda Mission L is expected to be launched in India next month.

The third car soon to hit Indian roads, is Mercedes-Benz's sport tourer. This car is said to be a true luxury ride for whole family. It is a 4,359 mm long car, and it will be put in comeition with BMW X1. This Mercedes Benz B Class will be available in four engine variants, with both Petrol and Diesel versions. The Petrol engine of B180 will produce 122 bhp power. While the B200 will produce 156bhp power. It will available in six speed manual transmission, as well as seven speed dual-clutch automatic versions. The Mercedes Benz B Class offering will be priced between Rs. 20-25 lacs.
