New Maruti Ritz launched at Rs 5.31 lakh, 52 new features, total facelift

Call it the damage control mechanism or to recoup the loss that the Manesar lockout has caused to the car maker but Maruti seems to be in an aggressive mood. Igniting its series of launches slated now on, the car maker has launched the new Maruti Ritz Diesel starting at Rs 5.31 lakh. The car was anticipated from quite sometime and new Ritz launch is expected to boost the pace of Maruti car sales in India ahead of the festive season. Also the new Maruti Ritz is seen as a temporary alternative to the Maruti Swift that has not limped back to normal production after the recent outage at the Manesar plant.

The best part of the new Ritz is that it has not only become pleasant than the outgoing model but has also learnt to be frugal on diesel as well. The new Ritz mileage is 23.2 kmpl and now it is the third best diesel hatchback in the country after Chevrolet Beat, Tata Indica eV2. As per the information, the new Ritz by Maruti has an array of changes. Most significant among these is the all new front design and the sporty dual tone interiors. The new model of the Ritz has also revamped its multifunction display and now one can play songs on the audio system connecting it to a USB device. Apart from this, the rear view wing mirrors are electrically adjustable and the body has side mouldings that further step up its already awesome looks.

The new Ritz has in all 52 changes and now the Ritz has become plusher than the exiting model. The top model new Ritz ZDi has an array of features and its price is Rs 6.23 lakh. The host of features include steering mounted audio control, all alloy wheels and air bags for the driver and the front passenger. Three new shades are also. These are breeze blue, mystique red and granite grey.
