New Renault Logan likely to be launched by 2013
Mahindra Renault Logan, the erstwhile joint venture vehicle of domestic auto giant Mahindra & Mahindra and French car maker Renault, it all set to be launched in the Indian market in a new age version. It is to be mentioned here that Mahindra has renamed the Logan sedan as Mahindra Verito in the country. Thus, way of launching the new age Logan sedan in the country is all clear for Renault.
The French auto giant Renault has planned-up to roll-out as many as five new car models in the Indian market in next two years. These new models may include the new generation Renault Logan with a number of upgrades at both exterior and interior front.
The new generation Renault Logan is expected to hit the Indian market by year 2013. As per the unconfirmed media reports, the new Logan is in the final stage of its development and has been codenamed as X52.
The new version of Logan is expected to be more fuel efficient as well as more environment friendly as compared to its existing model. The car will be powered with the same engine along with small changes incorporated into it. The car is expected to be launched in the price range of Rs 6 to 8 lakh, where it will be competing with the likes of Hyundai Accent, Maruti Swift Dzire, Toyota Etios and Ford Fiesta.
