Nissan unveils Nissan Extrem SUV

Now that Renault is enjoying its success in India with the Renault Duster how can Nissan be far behind. In order to show its intent to bring in an entry level SUV, Nissan has unveiled the Nissan Extrem at the Sao Paulo Auto Show in Brazil. This SUV will be placed as an entry level Nissan SUV and it will enjoy the status of being the Urban SUV just as the Ford Ecosport is in Brazil. The images of the Nissan Extrem reveal it to be a modernistic design and the actual production model will be different from it. However, initial impression about the SUV is that it is too futuristic concept and far ahead in design than any of the SUVs present in the world.  

At the unveil, the Japanese car maker seemed too bullish and it expects that the SUV will be really rocking once it gets on the road. Aimed to be an urban SUV, the Nissan Extrem is a two door concept vehicle that has a seating for four people. The design and concept are entirely new and it has been designed at the design lab in San Diego. The urban compact sports car Extrem is expected to be a little different when it gets its real production version and as per the reports, the car will be in all probability under four meter or just over four meter and will be studded with so many true SUV features that will certainly woo the young professionals.  

Whatever be the modern design elements Nissan has imbibed in the new SUV, it closely resembles to be a Nissan car. The headlamps and the hood as well as the body styling vociferously speak of Nissan design elements. The SUV will take some more time before it could see any real road as the company has also clarified that it has no immediate plans to produce this new SUV.
