Renault Pulse will be offered only in diesel engine; smiles for diesel car lovers

The French car maker Renault has shocked everyone when it announced that its recently unveiled hatch Renault Pulse will only be offered with diesel engine. It seems that Renault has geared up to conquer the Indian hatchback car market by storm; as the demand for diesel cars is in a progressive stage.

The new Renault Pulse which will be on sale by January 2012, is the third car after the launch of sedan Fluence and SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) Koleos; both of which didn’t saw the expected success in the Indian auto sector.

The France based auto maker Renault is striving hard to capitalize on the growing diesel car market. Earlier when it had launched its first vehicle in the form of Fluence, it kept the diesel variant as the entry level base model while the subsequently launched SUV saw only diesel run power-train. Now, Renault Pulse is the third vehicle with which the company is gambling.

The small car shares the platform with Nissan Micra and appears similar to the car from the front. In the interior part too it displays the similarity with Nissan Micra.

Renault has majorly focused on the safety features which the short coming of Micra diesel. The features consist of anti-lock brake system (ABS), electronic brake-distribution system (EBS) along with driver and occupant air-bags. Further it has the features like key-less entry, push-button start and auto climate control.

The new Renault Pulse will be powered by 1.5L common rail diesel engine capable of yielding out 65 bhp of maximum power along with maximum torque of 160 Nm.

The launch scheduled in January next year is the perfect time, as the demand for diesel cars is increasing and the many car makers are not able to cater the demand in an appropriate manner, due to lack of adequate supply as a result of insufficient production.

Renault Pulse is so nice small car in Renault. exterior & interior looks are too good.
