Rolls Royce to unveil new car at the Shanghai Auto Show
Very soon, Rolls Royce will be unveiling a new car at the Shanghai Auto Show. This striking revelation came during the 2013 North American International Auto Show in which the car maker has showcased some of its best offerings. The new Rolls Royce car’s launch in Shanghai will be part of the car makers strategy to strengthen its position in China. This is in view of the loss of ground and slow sales in its homeland Europe that has led the car maker to explore new avenues and strengthen the existing ones in order to recoup the losses. Overall, RR has posted a record 3,575 car sales in 2012.
Back in India, the car maker has two cars available here. Rolls Royce Ghost that has a price tag starting at Rs 2.5 crore to Rs 3.05 crore and the Rolls Royce Phantom that has a price of Rs 3.5 crore to Rs 4.5 crore. The British car maker could also launch a few of its models in India as well. Though the market here for Rolls Royce cars is too weak but the car maker could still take a chance in order to compensate the loss of sales that it has incurred in Europe and other countries.
Notably, the car maker has posted good sales in 2012 and it has recovered even in times of crisis at its homeland. The most crucial market remained US where the ultra luxury car brand has done exceedingly well. Now that the car maker is optimistic about China, it seems that the decision about launching the new car in China will get good results for the car maker. The new ‘stunning’ RR car as it is being called will be a worth addition this year and will help RR post exceptional sales this year as well.
