Scorpio Special Edition launched from Mahindra and Mahindra
With an objective to take advantage of festive season all auto manufacturing companies have started launching the facelifts and new models of their vehicles in auto market. Following the same trend India’s leading auto manufacturing company Mahindra & Mahindra has launched Special Edition of its highly acclaimed SUV Scorpio BSIV variant in Indian market with price tag of Rs. 11.88 lakh (ex-showroom price in New Delhi). According to sources of company it will launch only 500 units of this Special Edition which is furnished with special finishing, accessories of superior quality followed by superior fabric. As far as technical changes are concerned being a Special Edition M&M has not touched its existing engine and continues with its existing 2.2 litre 4 cylinder mHawk diesel engine developing the power 120 bhp.
Addressing the launch of Scorpio Special Edition, Mr. Vivek Nayer, Chief Marketing Officer, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited said, carrying its fascinating looks and Style Company speculates that Scorpio Special Edition will succeed in grabbing the attention of audiences. As it is known that with its inception Scorpio proved to be a huge success for M&M and receiving the same response from customers it has successfully entered in 11th year of its existence. According to Mr. Nayer he is confident that limited edition will create new standards of success and will enhance the interest of customers towards itself.
The major updates introduced in Scorpio Special Edition include Pearl White color followed by chrome garnished alloy wheels, on the exteriors. At the interior side company has given wooden garnish to central console, upholstery created with superior quality European leather. Apart from this steering wheel, gearshift knob is also covered with high quality leather and also roof integrated DVD player. With these features company has also integrated some extra safety measures Anti breaking system, airbags and EST suspension system.
