Toyota Motors cuts the price of Camry Hybrid
Going through the decline in excise duty under National Electric Mobility Mission Plan (NEMMP) all major car makers have started cutting down the prices of their hybrid vehicles. In this series after decline in prices of Ciaz SHVS (sedan) Ertiga (MPV) by country’s leading car manufacturer MSIL, one more car maker Toyota Motors has slashed the prices of best selling luxurious sedan Camry Hybrid to Rs. 2.3 lakh. As an impact of this price cut the new Camry Hybrid from Toyota Motors is now priced Rs. 30.9 lakh (ex-showroom).

Under the hood Camry is empowered by 2.5 litre engine followed by an electronic motor. It operates on Hybrid Synergy Drive system which converts the power from petrol engine to electronic motors. It offers an average of 19.16 kmpl. It would be interested to know that Camry Hybrid is one of the best selling cars by Japanese car maker, more interestingly the Hybrid version of Camry constitutes 90% of Camry’s sale in Indian car market.
