Un-camouflaged Honda Amaze spied, ready for launch during next month
Indo-Japanese carmaker HMIL is bringing the refreshed version of its best selling and game changer product Amaze soon in Indian car market, most probably sometimes during next month. Recently the prototype of same was captured by spies being tested on roads. The unit of Amaze spied was completely uncovered giving complete idea about the changes that would be offered in new Amaze. The refreshed Amaze is speculated to be priced around Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 higher than its existing version. According to reports received from spy’s new Amaze bunch of cosmetic upgrades on both exterior and interior. Couple of days back HMIL the Indian arm of Japanese car maker had revealed the features and specifications of generation next Accord to launch by the end of this year in Indian car market.
Mechanically the compact sedan Amaze will come with same existing 1.2 litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine boosting the power of 87 bhp and torque of 109 Nm and power of 99 bhp and torque of 200 Nm respectively. Both the engines will be mated with five speed manual and automatic transmission gear system that is offered in outgoing version of Amaze. According to reports with an objective to deliver better performance company has however worked on improvising the working of both engines.
On exteriors it will sport newly developed front fascia with newly developed front grille comprising of large chrome plates with new headlamps. The bonnet has been also reframed followed by new lines across it. The most noticeable change on exteriors is introduction new front bumper which looks more muscular integrating enlarged air intakes and wide air dam. On the interiors it will receive new dashboard which looks more aggressive with integration of newly designed air conditioner vents, the centre console also receives new look. The black/beige colour combination has been continued along with three spoke steering wheel followed by gear shift knob.
