Un-camouflaged Mahindra Scorpio facelift spied for first time
Scheduled for launch of September 25, 2014 spies have caught the generation next Mahindra Scorpio being tested on roads without any covers for the first time. The car maker has already started the bookings of new Scorpio through Snapdeal on the down payment of Rs. 20,000. It would be interested to know that it is for the first time spies have witnessed the new Scorpio tested uncovered.
According to reports the new Scorpio receives newly developed front grille, bumpers, fog lamps and headlamps. To look front fascia more aggressive the front grille has been shortened followed by black colored vertical slats. The chrome garnish across the company’s badge has been removed. The smoked headlamps now carry two headlights. The headlamps are now offered with LED Daytime running lights. The front bumper has been given more muscular look and now integrates new lamps alignment followed by headlamps. The ORVM is similar to outgoing version Scorpio.
Moving towards the rear portion it would be interested to know that car maker has made various cosmetic changes on the rear portion to make it look new. The rear glass area has been minimized according to rear door design which now carries new matte black motif. The license plate now receives new silver garnish covering. The rear windshield has been enriched with sizeable handles which will make entry and exit easier for rear passengers. Apart from this the new Scorpio also receives clear lens lamps housing D shaped tail light. Moving ahead the new five spoke alloy wheels adds an elegance to looks of new Scorpio.
