Upcoming cars in March-April 2013
The next two months are going to be fun and frolic for the car companies and for the car fanatics. The companies are all set to bring in some fresh and alluring models in the Indian car market in next two months. Auto majors like Ford, Honda, Fiat, Volvo, Mahindra and General Motors will mark their presence very soon with refreshing car models.
Mahindra Reva E2O
The first launch that you could expect in next two months is all electric hatchbacks from Mahindra and Mahindra, Mahindra Reva E2O. The car will be powered by lithium ion batteries and would give a 100 km run up in a full charge. The technology used here would make this one very cost-efficient and interesting. The car will arrive with a price tag of around Rs. 4 to 6 lakh.
Ford EcoSport
The most anticipated launch in March is Ford EcoSport. This one will come along with an approximate price tag of Rs. 6-9 lakh and would give a tough competition to Renault Duster. The car will be launched with a 1.0 litre EcoBoost petrol engine along with another diesel variant. The sporty exteriors of the car are expected to be the major highlight here.
Honda Amaze
The next launch is Honda Amaze sedan, which might arrive in April 2013. The car would be giving a direct competition to Maruti Swift Dzire and Toyota Etios and the price tag attached to it will be as competitive as Rs. 7.6 lakh. The company will make the debut of 1.5-Litre Diesel engine with Amaze in India. But to cater the petrol clients, the sedan will also be launched in petrol engine option as well.
New Fiat Linea
The New Fiat Linea is also expected to arrive in the Indian car bazaar in next couple of weeks. The exact launch date hasn’t been finalized; neither there has been any news about the price. But the company has refurbished the Fiat Linea sedan in terms of exteriors and interiors and has made it more refreshing and interesting than before. But, this sedan needs to be prepared for the heavy competition that has been waiting for it in the market. The true contenders comprise of Honda City, Skoda rapid, Skoda Superb and Ford Fiesta.
Chevrolet Enjoy
General Motors isn’t lagging behind and is in full swing to launch its MPV, Chevrolet Enjoy in India. The car will be pitted against Maruti Ertiga and would be price around Rs. 7 lakh. This seven-seater will not only attract the consumers with its simplified and sober looks, but also the diesel and engine options. The remarkable fuel economy would be the major highlight of this car.
Volvo V40
The luxury car maker is mulling to launch Volvo V40 in the Indian car market in next few weeks. This car will come along with a price tag of Rs. 25 lakh and would be pitted against cars like Mercedes Benz B Class and BMW X1. Under the hood, the high performance engine would impress everyone with the superior pickup and acceleration. The stylish appearance will act as the icing on the cake and make Volvo V40 one of the most alluring luxury cars in the country today.
