Volkswagen Polo CNG to amplify sales
Volkswagen India has been able to establish itself in the Indian car market in a very short span of time. But, since last couple of months, the popularity of its cars is going down a bit. Therefore, to catch up to the big sales figures and amplify its sales volumes in India, Volkswagen is planning to launch Volkswagen Polo CNG car and Volkswagen Vento CNG car models into the country. This move will certainly give the firm a bit of edge over the big champions of the Indian car market, like Hyundai and Maruti Suzuki.

From the starting Volkswagen has come up as a lavish and luxurious car brand and this have kept him quite a bit of revenue. The premium pricing of its car has been quite unsuccessful in luring the average consumer towards it. However, when one talks about the service given by Volkswagen dealers, it is has been quite impressive but a bit less than satisfactory. There have been some complaints about test drive requests not done in timely manner. Also, as compared to Hyundai and Maruti Suzuki, the dealership network of Volkswagen India is weak. Therefore, working on its consumer service and dealership network is also vital for the car maker.

Besides less satisfactory consumer service and weak dealership network, the reason behind Volkswagen’s poor sales in the country is the cost behind the after sales service. Indian consumers are extremely cost conscious, so Volkswagen have to work on this factor as well. Reducing the after sale costs will certainly help Volkswagen in going up in the Indian car bazaar. In this area, Ford is another brand who is lagging behind in after sale services and dealership issues.
