2013 Mercedes Benz E Class with long wheelbase in the pipeline

The Chinese car bazaar gives more weight-age and priority to the executive sedans, which has more space for the rear occupants. The car consumers there wish to experience a better and more relaxed journey and make the trip in car more luxurious. The more spacious and longer variants of normal models are launched for the luxury car segment of China. Keeping this in mind, Mercedes Benz has been mulling to introduce the long wheelbase version of Mercedes Benz E Class. As the name suggest, this model will have a long and luxurious wheelbase thereby giving the rear seat occupants better comfort and lavishness during the ride.


The 2013 Mercedes Benz E Class long wheelbase model will proffer ample of levels of space and comfort for the rear cabin in comparison with the normal E-Class model. As soon as the company launches LWB model in Chinese market, it is expected that it will become a big hit there. The car will be rolled out with the same engine options that are available right now. The engine options comprise of 1.8L, 2.0L and 3.5L petrol and diesel mills.Its competitors, Audi and BMW are already aware of the LWB car models priority in the Chinese car marker, therefore they make sure to launch a LWB models along with the standard ones in the China car bazaar.

As far as the 2013 Mercedes Benz E Class Indian launch is concerned, it hasn’t been finalized as yet. The official announcement for the same is just round the corner. Hopefully, this car will hit the Indian market shore by the end of this year. Apart from the changes on the interiors, the exteriors of the car will also been refreshed big time. The radiator grille has been refreshed along with a bit of change on the rear design.
