2014 Audi R8 and RS 5 to debut at Detroit Motor Show
With a brand new year, the auto motor shows will be here with new cars and new products. In the Detroit Motor Show this year, Audi will bring in the 2014 Audi R8 and Audi RS 5 convertible to USA. The new R8 hasn’t been changed much since 2006 when it was first introduced. But the 2014 model of R8 will be seen with a host of changes on the exteriors. The front and rear ends of the car will be styled smartly. The front of 2014 Audi R8 will come with refreshed headlamps that use LED technology. The front grille accompanied by the side mirror are also been refurbished. On the other hand, the rear-end will have new taillights along with reworked tail pipes.

Apart from the exteriors makeover, the new 2014 Audi R8 will also have tweaked engine options. The 4.2 Litre V8 engine (430HP) and 5.2 Litre V10 engine (525HP) will be at your disposal. There will be an Audi R8 V10 Plus model would be featuring 5.2 Litre V10 engine that will be churning out a whopping 550HP of peak power output. These engines will now come coupled with seven-speed S-Tronic Dual-Clutch transmission, which would enhance the performance of the car big time.

Talking about the 2014 Audi RS 5 Convertible, which will also make it to the US market via its Detroit show is an impressive one as well. The 2014 Audi RS 5 Convertible will be seen with an engine producing 450HP of peak power along with a smashing seven-speed S-Tronic transmission. The acceleration will be improved accompanied by inspiring mileage figures of 22mph on the highways.The pricing details of both the cars are kept under the hood for now and will be revealed at the Detroit Motor Show, which will begin on 14th January 2013.
