2014 Toyota Corolla Altis launched priced Rs. 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom price)
Japanese auto giant Toyota Motors has finally launched the new Toyota Corolla Altis in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom price in New Delhi). Retaining the existing engine configuration in both petrol and diesel variants the new Altis will be offered in overall nine variants. The petrol variant will be equipped with 1.8 litre VVT-I petrol engine developing the enhanced power of 138.1 bhp and torque of 173 Nm, while the diesel mill will be empowered with 1.4 litre D-4D engine developing the same power as developed by earlier version.
The Toyota Corolla Altis 2014 has been developed on Furia concept and is miles ahead from erstwhile version. The new Corolla Altis now receives more dynamic looks with twin barrel LED DRL integrated projector headlamps along with chrome garnished grille.
Addressing the launch of new Toyota Corolla Altis Mr. Naomi Ishii, Managing Director, said, Corolla is one of the most liked cars in world and is one of highest selling cars in the history of Japanese car manufacturing company. He also added that company is excited in launching the generation next Corolla Altis in Indian car market.
