2017 Nissan Terrano Launched with Price Tag of Rs. 9.99 lakh
Japanese car maker Nissan has launched the facelift Terrano in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant. The first generation Terrano was launched back in October 2013 and during the course of these years it has undergone only change in form of its special edition christened as Terrano Groove Edition. The refreshed Terrano will compete against Renault Duster, Hyndai Creta and Honda BR-V.

Talking about the features adorned in 2017 Nissan Terrano, it is reported to receive 22 updates in form of seven inch touchscren infotainment system along with navigation and voice recognition feature. Moving ahead it also receives electronic ORVMs, hill climb assist and cruise control system, dual tone treatment inside the cabin, newly developed steering wheel with mounted controls for telephony and audio operations, armrest for the drivers, and illuminated buttons for power windows and finally the last but not the least turn indicators mounted on the wing mirrors.

On the exterior front it receives new color treatment of Sandstone Brown and few tweaks including newly developed grille, new front bumper with chrome surroundings over the fog lamps, new LED DRLs, other features remain unchanged. On the safety front it is equipped with ABS+EBD across all the trims, except the base variant. With this it also receives drive side airbag as standard on all the variants.
As far as mechanical changes are concerned it continues with existing 1.6 litre petrol and 1.5 litre diesel engine configuration boosting the power of 103 bhp and 84 bhp respectively. The petrol variant is mated with five speed manual gearbox system, while diesel with option of two engine tunes of 84 bhp and 108 bhp are mated with five speed manual and six speed manual and AMT transmission system respectively.
