Nissan Terrano to be groomed with all wheel drive option

Inspired from the success enjoyed by Duster from its sibling Renault, Japanese car maker Nissan Motors brought Terrano SUV in Indian car market last year. Interestingly the Japanese SUV also succeeded in receiving the same over whelming response as enjoyed Duster. It would be interested to learn that going through the updates offered in Duster, Nissan also updated Terrano accordingly. It is now reported that since the Renault introduced Duster with all wheel drive option, Japanese car maker is also speculating to introduce all wheel drive version of Terrano in Indian car market.

The upgraded version of Terrano is speculated to make its entry sometimes during the mid of 2015. The AWD version of Terrano would be empowered with 1.5 litre dCRi diesel engine boosting the power of 110bhp and torque of 245Nm. Its engine would be coated with six speed manual gearbox. The major interesting features that are expected to be adhered in AWD version Terrano will include electronic torque control, anti skid system, hill start function. Apart from receiving tough competition of Duster it will also have to face attacks from Mahindra XUV 500.
