Nissan Gearing to Launch Terrano AMT in Indian Car Market
According to reports received from authentic sources Japanese car maker Nissan Motors is going to bring the AMT version of its compact SUV Terrano in Indian car market. Grapevine is that this launch might take place sometimes during this month. Recently the video of same version on social media platfrom has been teased by company to create curiosity among car enthusiasts and to fire the rounds of speculations in market. It is anticipated that AMT Terrano will be equipped with six speed Easy-R AMT transmission system which is also offered in Renault Duster.
It should be remembered that both Nissan Terrano and Renault Duster share the same niche and developed under the collaboration of Japanese and French auto giants. It is believed that going through the excessive demand for automatic vehicle company has decided to bring the automatic variant of Terrano in Indian car market to deepen its reach among the buyers.
The standard variant of Terrano is offered in both petrol and diesel disguises which are enriched with 1.6 litre engine and 1.5 litre engine configurations respectively. The petrol variant boosts power of 102 bhp and torque of 148Nm, while diesel variant develops the power of 84 bhp and torque of 200Nm. Both the engines are mated with five speed manual gear transmission system. Reports reveal that the AMT Terrano will be offered in diesel variant with existing engine configuration.
Since its inception Nissan Terrano has been one of the promising vehicles by Nissan and hosts plethora of remarkable features in form of reverse parking sensors, rear view camera, media navigation system, manual air conditioner system, high defined music system that supports connectivity with Bluetooth, multi functional MID display, rear seat armrest with cup holders, electronic ORVMs, eight way adjustable driver seat and many more.
It is speculated with festive season around the launch of AMT Terrano and recently launched Generation Next Micra in Indian car market, will definitely give reason of smile to Japanese car maker.
