Bookings of Nissan Terrano AMT Commenced by Company
Japanese car maker Nissan Motors has commenced the bookings of Terrano AMT SUV in Indian car market at the down payment of Rs. 25,000, throughout its dealers across the country. The AMT transmission system will be offered in the top end XVD premium trim and its price will start from Rs. 13.75 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The deliveries are expected to begin by the end of this month.
The upcoming AMT variant of Nissan Terrano will be empowered with 1.5 litre four cylinder diesel engine that will boost the power of 108 bhp and torque of 248Nm and mated with six speed advanced automatic transmission system offering computerised gear shifting pattern. It is endorsed that AMT Terrano will deliver an ARAI tested average of 19.61 kmpl. The petrol variant of Terrano SUV is enriched with 1.6 litre K4M petrol engine that churns the power of 102 bhp and torque of 145 Nm and mated with five speed manual gearbox.
According to sources of company the newly introduced six speed Advanced Auto Drive System represents the company’s SUV heritage offering clutch free flawless driving experience of driver. Along with six speed AMT system, the upgraded Nissan Terrano also receives few cosmetic updates in form of turn indicators mounted on ORVMs, electronic adjustable and folding exterior rear view mirrors, anti pinch driver side windows, newly offered driver armrest and many more.
With these interesting features the new Terrano AMT also adorns bunch of safety features in form of hill assist control and electronic stability program system, ABS+EBD, dual airbags, and brake assist system. List of additional features offered in new Terrano will include automatic warning for emergency brake, one touch turn indicators, white black illumination for door switches etc.
